#100138 - if "goes" refer to being loaded, it woul Responding to: ???'s previous message |
does it matter what code goes first
if "goes" refer to being loaded, it would be counterproductive to fiddle with it. if "goes" refer to after the jmp at 0, the answer is yes while debugging etc, no for functioning software Erik NoTouch does NOT make you lose the bootvector. NoTouch does not rely on the state of the bootvector. It will work regardless of its state. NoTouch when download does not fail will work REGARDLESS of the boot vector state. Thus the likelyhood of your chip surviving is greatly increased |
