There is a Dutch word for people like you Andy. It basically means "one who performs a certain physical act with ants". :-)
My use of the word "easiest" was in the context of light-to-frequency conversion, which was (one of the things) the OP was asking about. And since he didn't actually specify the derivative he wants to use, it might still be easier than the light-to-digital solution, which requires an I²C/SMBUS implementation. And, no, Texas Instruments does not 'do' such things anymore; what once was their opto division is now TAOS ... Rob. |
