#100676 - OT: inline, Keil ARM
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Just as an aside...

Jan Waclawek said:
isn't there a way in C51s to make a function inline while still looking formally functions?

I said:
Not in ANSI 'C', and not in Keil C51.

However, I have just noticed that Keil's ARM Compiler (which they also call an "ANSI C" compiler) does provide this as an extension to the ANSI standard:

Still not in C51, though.
