#101038 - If it is flash, of course, you cant Responding to: ???'s previous message |
"Failed : Cannot write 1s to 0s."
If it is flash, of course, you cant. The only way to write a '1' to a flash is by erasing. an exception: Some flashes have internal logic that read a page to an internal RAM, inserts your updates, erases the flash and writes the page back. However, if not specifically stated in the datasheet that such logic is there, you can only write '1' by erasing. another exception: a few configurations have inverters involved and erase to '0' and those you can write '1' to but not '0' Erik |
