#101385 - replace 27c256 with 27c512 |
Greetings to all!
I'm trying to replace a 27c256 eprom with a 27c512. (it just happens i have several 512 spare eproms.) Basically the pinouts are the same, except for the MSB address pin for the 512. This pin, pin 1, is the Vpp pin for the 256. If im not mistaken, I can connect this pin to gnd, and my circuit will function for both 27c256 and 27c512 eproms? Is that correct? Pls. advice. Thanks. |
