use an Agilemnt chip http://www.home.agilent.com/USeng/nav...98/pd.html and it "just works". any other method will be cumbersome.
if you believe in the urban legend "use a as clock, b as direction" you WILL fail. If you do not want to use the Agilent chip, you can find equivalent code for a FPGA/CPLD on the web. Erik |
