#101803 - OS Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Ultimately, I'm writing an OS for it based around the things
in SBC Mon, some of the routines work very well for what I'm going to use the SBC for. For example, the LCD echo program, I changed it to 2000h with its ORG statement, and loaded the OS I'm working on, then loaded the LCDecho hex right after it; so when I use the R command I can still run it from within the 430's flash ram. I removed alot of it, like all the mini-assembler code. The I2C and serial code is very useful since it works so well, and I'm going to basically try to interface a transciever to it using the I2C protocol. The 128 byte eeprom chip is cool too. I'm learning too much with this SBC for my own good, way to fast. I'd love to find a pin-for-pin compatible chip with more than the 128 bytes, I'm sure they exist I just haven't looked yet. As of yet, I can't find a 74573 lol. I've got 1000s of the 7400 series chips, just not THAT one lol. |
