I didn't include shipping cost in the examples I gave from EBAY because they are purposely misleading. Most sellers on EBAY add Shipping and Handling (S/H) charges which are not true cost. The latest trick selling on EBAY is to sell your item for $0.01 and charge high S/H. There were a couple examples where shipping was $131. That wasn't the case with the crystal from Digi-Key. (http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=102490 The Facts of the real world) Everything was in the open. To make a statement you can purchase a crystal for $1.12 is total incorrect. All of the charges should be included to give realist or at least indicate there are other charges to get said crystal. This should be practiced (or at least attempted) in all post so that readers get a true cost of components. Regards, Charles Bannister |
