Not quite sure what you are asking. And i am not familiar with the Elector video project. If your question is whether it's possible to implement a variation of software video (which supports your shift register interface) that would implement pixels at the resolution of your LCD fixtures, while generating appropriate sync signalling that would allow you to demonstrate and the image data using the CRT, it's my opinion the answer is yes. I am confused about the bandwidth issue you mention as i understand your pixel resolution to be quite low. If you are describing a situation where you want the visual resolution to be low but the pixel rate high then perhaps you could compensate by just tiling the lower resolution video pattern across a higher resolution video field. Perhaps by correcting the description above you can refine your request, also if their are any links to the Elector Project. regards, p |
