Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me with the gist of the hardware setup between these two chips. I am fairly new to microcontrollers and need some pointing in the right direction.

Questions:
How do I clock the DS1620 from the Atmel?
The docs for the DS1620 say it transmits on rst going high, does it transmit cont or just once?
The DS1620 has only one input/output the Atmel has a RXD and TXD, what should be connected to what so I can receive and program?
I assume for the reset, I can just control that with a free I/O pin?
