1) re Win crashing: The next OS from the redmondians will not have a "blue screen of death". ... it will be red :)
2) re processors requiring padding: I had an interesting bug once (I was the "interface to the compiler manufacturer"). Whit that particular compiler If you typecast a char as an int and the char was ont on a word boundary, you got incorrect results. Erik |
