I'm not quite sure I understand what you're getting at, but this sounds like a PC problem, not an 8031 problem:
The IBM PC architecture does not like to have its keyboard removed & then reconnected. If you want a "hot-swappable" keyboard, you will have to re-write your BIOS to cope with it. |
