#104456 - Enhanced UART - SADDR, SADEN
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The Standard 8051 UART supports the 9-bit "multiprocessor" mode, but the Enhanced UART does the automatic address recognition.

Automatic address recognition is controlled by two Special
Function Registers: SADDR and SADEN. So, if your variant doesn't have these, I guess it doesn't do automatic address recognition!
