#104583 - delicate???
Responding to: ???'s previous message
A "good" emulator implying one with features and trueness of emulation are really costly(~$1000+) and delicate

Kalpak, I think you are accusing "A "good" emulator" for being what a "not so good emulator" is.

My Ceibos, have been dropped to the floor, inserted the wrong way in the uC socket, under items that fell and still work.

re your suggestion about SILabs: since I do not go beyond 64k CODE I do not know how well the SILabs emulator would work in a banking environment, but I am, in one instance, using the upper 64k as data storage and that is emulated very well. Now as to using SILabs to emulate a product that later will use another chip, sure, but there is one caveat: SILabs is internal code memory only.
