Hi Kim,

your problem seems, on frequency above 300Hz you get to less counts for the desired accuracy.

The solution, if the counts are to less, you wait until another interrupt was sensed and count also the number of interrupts until the timer value was high enough.

If:
m = timer value,
n = number of interrupts

then:
f = crystal / 12 * n / m
