Hi Adrian,
My suggestion would be that you buy a book entitled "USB Design by Example; A Practical Guide to Building I/O Devices," Second Edition, by John Hyde (Intel Press, ISBN 0-9702846-5-9). It is an excellent book that explains, with examples, everything you could want to know about doing precisely what you say you want to do, namely develop peripherals that interface via a USB. This book not only shows you how, but will explain in detail the whys as well. |
