Hello,

has anyone experiences with Midi on a 8051? I was trying to receive the 3-Byte-Midi-Strings with the UART of a 8051 but I did not succeed. My problem is now that I do not have a pattern generator or even some kind of terminal to build own packets to test the communication. Has someone such a terminal or a piece of 8051 code to initialize the UART correctly for polled mode with the Midi parameters?
