There are a few CRC routines which are 16bit and have different start and end CRC values and well as different methods and polynominals. QUESTIONS Which specific CRC calculation routine are you needing? Why are you needing a CRC routine? What's the application? Does the application define a specific CRC standard? Is the CRC start value 0x0000 or 0xffff. Is the crc poly x16+x15+x2+1 or X16+x12+x5+1 or other.
