I guess there's an analog part and a microcontroller section. But feeding a signal from one section to the other should only be done via a low pass filter. And the connection of both ground planes should be provided right there where the signal crosses the gap. Without low pass filtering and with the shown ground connection a rather big loop is formed.

Anyway, you can use as much ground fill as you want, but this is never an alternative to a solid ground plane! The layout might sufficiently work with this little project. But for larger ones omiting the solid ground plane will result in serious trouble.

By the way, connecting cables to this board without having a solid ground plane and cable filters will very probably make you fail the CE emission test. Please have a look at this very teaching file:
