#106878 - It will probably be a unipolar motor Responding to: ???'s previous message |
If it is it will have two sets of coils center tapped with the center taps intended to be fed from the power supply. Search unipolar drives to determine how to rate them and how to connect them.
Your ohmmeter should show two separate sets of 3 wires if it is a unipolar motor. Mahmood: I only know of one manufacturer of three coil steppers but there may be others now. The info I have on them is at the office. The ones that I evaluated use a proprietary and horribly expensive drive system. I looked at them for a project a couple of years ago and went with Bipolar steppers instead. Terry |
