thanks for the quick reply. I have the lcd displaying text no problem and I have been looking at the code posted by John Wren converting binary to ascii. However, I still don't know what exactly to do with the 12 bits. Could you direct me further? I know this is probably very basic to you but if I could find out the steps that I have to take I'll have my system up and running.
