Nevertheless, the SPI-ISP programming of AVRs is the same as of the Atmel's AT89S* range of '51 derivatives (except the number of bytes for some of them, and maybe other than simple byte programming modes), so the dongle itself might be considered to be '51 related.
Also, there are numerous programmer software for AVR which support some of the AT89S* controllers natively. Jan Waclawek |
