I'm a beginner in microprocesors ... I know about interfaces very little.
So, you see, it's not a little project for me. Every big project can be considered as a number of small projects, all linked together. You need to tackle this "One bite at a time"! I want to convert signal to SPI, SMBus, RS232 and 1-wire. I would start with a simple RS232 "Hello, World" project - there is bound to be an example included with your compiler. Then try adding one of the other interfaces - 1-WireTM code is available from Dallas/Maxim, and there's plenty of SPI examples around. I think SMBus is based on I2C, isn't it? And so on, until you have your complete system! |
