Hi Jose,
If you have the choice of choosing a chip in a new design, the Dallas DS80C320 has two RS232 serial ports and a lot of new functions : 2 DPTR pointers and a slow transfer speed for MOVX, for slow interfaces. The two ports are independant. This is certainly the simplest method with no electronic hacking. Best regards J. M. |
