#11008 - RE: I2C SLAVE |
Hi Yuri,
Performing I2C transactions in software is a waste of controller's power. An I2C hardware subsystem is a far better solution. Sadly, a producer that you exclude, Philips, could sell you I2C processors, pin to pin compatible with 8032 chips. 80C652 was a good candidate, but it is certainly out of production. Newer chips exist that you could find on Philip's WEB server. You can certainly obtain some few free samples from your local Philips dealer... Your faithfuly, J. M. |
