Trouble is I don't think there was a standard interface board lots of suppliers sold the mechanics with their own electronics. I have used two manufacturers with very similar cards. Both had a parallel input for ascii data and a strobe an busy line. They DID NOT implement a centronics interface with them though. There was also an optional serial interface as well.

Any identifying marks on the controller card ?
