#11052 - RE: Analog Comparator of 89C2051 |
Dear Mr. baron cen,
Steve is right. Hacking a cheap smoke detector is easy. Just drill a hole on the side, add a jack, solder two wires across the internal speaker and you have a state of the art smoke detector. Now that you have a smoke detector what do you do with it? You have to tell the world when it detects smoke and a great way of doing that is using an external modem programmed to call a beeper/cellular phone. A good example of doing this can be found at "http://members.aol.com/cpu8052" Regards, Charles Bannister |
