There is an OTP configuration bit that controls this. You should have an option when you select the device in your programmer. After you switch to 12 clock mode, there is no turning back...
You may want to check out the Temic (Sorry, Atmel Wireless and microcontrollers) 89C51Rx2. They have a register that you can write to. -- Tom |
