#113716 - Time measurement using optical sensor Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The idea of you start a free running timer when the object obstructs the sensor, then stop the timer when the object finished passing the sensor. The timer value will be proportional to the time the object obstructed the sensor.
So it is very easy you can write code yourself. How big the timer is (16 bits , 32 bits etc) depends on you resolution. Mahmood |
