I just skimmed over the datasheet, but it appears that these parts allow in-situ programming.
assuming you refer to the MCB900, it "allow in-situ programming" of the LPC93x chip on the MCB900 board. With a couple of wires it "allow in-situ programming" of the LPC90x on YOUR board. The LPC series vary greatly in pincount, so a "universal socket" is out of the question. Also, the lower numbers do not have an UART and thus a direct PC connection is out of the question. The CodeWright method of programming a LPC90x is to first program the MCB900 as an interface, then program the LPC90x. Erik |
