#114366 - Oops - 1us, not 1ms!!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I said:
... on page 11 of the Philips document, it says:

Machine Cycles
A machine cycle consists of a sequence of 6 states, numbered S1 through S6. Each state time lasts for two oscillator periods. Thus a machine cycle takes 12 oscillator periods or 1ms (sic) if the oscillator frequency is 12MHz.

This was a cut-and-paste from the PDF, but it seems to have translated the Greek letter 'mu' (for "micro") into a lowercase 'm'.
The final sentence should, of course, read:
Thus a machine cycle takes 12 oscillator periods or 1us if the oscillator frequency is 12MHz.

Apologies for any confusion!
