#11516 - RE: PBM 3960 to 8051 |

Resonance sounds more like a hardware issue to me. yeap only diferance was pin 31 was grounded for external eprom (eprom eraser timer cct went on the blink today) so pulled pin 31 high and I am using a flash cpu (89c51 instead of the 8031) I have the schematics so I could decode the memory address wher the driver was sitting. I had it sounding sweet at one stage, but occasionally it would jerk (only running continuous atm will do cw and ccw movements sometime soon) Is their any way to detirmine the values as I have read on microstepping to use a modified sine / cosine, but am not sure how many points to plot or really how to do it, I was trainned as a tech, but am learning to be an EE very fast :o) Regards, Kat.
