Correct, I'm using Keil's evaluation edition compiler. I've been playing around with SDCC but figured I'd give Keils IDE a shot.
Anyways, regarding the "why" of your post, I'm using reg420.h at the moment as I'm developing for a Dallas platform. I took a look at this header and it really didn't give me much syntax help. So that's the why. I went ahead and checked out reg52.h though and while P1 bits aren't totally defined, other ports are. Thanks for the heads up. Wish I had thought to look there earlier as it would have helped a lot. Oh well, learning is an uphill battle I suppose. |
