#116675 - PLM/51 addressing Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks Andy: Sorry if I implied otherwise but I got your message. I find it hard to justify a new IDE just so I can do some addition in C. PL/M bitwise operations are exactly like C except SHL and SHR are used for << and >> repectively. For arithmetic operations '+' and '/' are used the same but MOD is used for '%'. To me PL/M looks very much like C. The '.' operator works just like '&' to read an address. I still think that valve byte is misplaced though. :-( Are there any seasoned programmers who can still perform ancient 16 bit addressing using PL/M on this board? - wil |
