Hi everyone,

I am fairly new to the 8051 and I am using the Keil C51 compiler to program the an ATMEL89C55 chip.

It is my understanding that you need startup assembly code to first clear the memory of the processor.

Has anyone tried the STARTUP.A51 code with the Keil processor? My program seems to be stuck in an endless loop.

I just have a C program which contains a printf statement.
