#11697 - RE: Aad |
Right now I'm working on it. I told you I made my trainingboard, it has that possibility. I am quite certain this can be done because I have experience with these LCD's attached to a NEC UPD70320- a 16MHz 8086 compatible device. I attached it in the same manner: two 573's and no read-back of the busy pin straight to the (non-multiplexed) databus. Address decode logic was again PALCE I do a lot with those. The only timing error I ever encountered in about 300 boards I have sold of this application was caused by placing two HCT573's instead of HC573. So be warned about HC vs HCT!!!
I can't tell you yet about the software though, because I also told you I am a beginner with that. But if you insist I could send you the source in pascal I believe. Must tell you also I have the timer0 interrupt under control and my watchdog is running! Thanks for the encouragement. |
