#1171 - RE: Backup circuit for sram memory |
Hi Dima,
Can I suggest Flash memories ? E.g. I use Atmels AT29C512. Since I use it, I can store data secure, Also its 3 byte write enable command give very high security against unexpected altering data during power off and power on. Then I need no longer a lot of supervisor hardware and not such terrible devices, which can explode or corrosive the pcb and with only small lifetime, like batteries. I have seen some of destroyed batteries to be sure, its really a time bomb inside your gadget. So on using batteries you must place they in a separate chamber far from the pcb. Regards, Peter |
