Just what my compiler generated too. I don't think your original snippet was self documenting. It needed to be read in detailed context. I set it to both my closet C programmers and neither of them could tell me what it did (yes they work on 8052 as well, but not on 8052 variant C compilers)
For the record, I don't think any computer language is self documenting, so this wasn't a particular attack. Have you ever seen Forth ? Steve |
