#118464 - Controlling mob platform with 8051 help
Hi to all,

I am working on BSc project"Controlling DC PM via H-bridge and 8051". I finished some of the hardware part, dual H-bridge and the platform itself with all other parts needed for it.
In near future, I would like to put for IR sensors at each side of the platform (Fwd, Back, Right and Left).
I made an algoritm for complete movement of the platform with
frend of mine but I had no much experience with 8051 assembler.
Ofcourse, I almost forgot, the brai will be AT90S8252 which I've got it with dev.board made by Mikroelektronika rev 1.51.
I invented original solution with diodes, to control the movement of the platform, I conected one old Commodore joystick, just for test and everything works fine manualy.

The idea is that, this platform shold move deppending on outputs from for IR sensors on for sides.
If outputs from for IR sensors are logical 1, this can be "opsticals on way" or logical 0 " no opsticals on way".
Thees for bit patterns shold be transmitted at for inputs of dual-h-bridge which then will detemine the movement of the platform itself (for expample: 0000 means STOP).

Can someone help me with tips of installing IR sensors and
since I have not much experience in assembler, can someone help me with assm.code for at least one movement(right, leftt etc).
Is better solution to write this code in C and then compile it
to assembler.

Best regards & thanx in advance,
Jack
