After the Robot Car competition 21 years ago, I thought it would be great to have a animatronics competition, the idea being to guess what each "animal" is from its behavior & give a prize based on the most realistic (30 second, say) performance. More creative than Robot Wars!
(Lots of mechanics, centralising all the heavy bits, clever linkages down to the hands & feet, etc.)
