The routine you require is called a 'bit blit' (BitBlt). This copies a rectangle from one place to another, like from your rom to the display. Off the top of my head, you could look for stuff on gameboy development and they should have some libraries for doing graphics. Whilst a gameboy is not 8051 based, the concepts are valid for just about any graphic system. Let Goggle be your guide. |
