Is it the case that your code in ISR is too long for which execution can not be completed within 30uS. You mentioned that timer 0 is set for 30uS in auto reload format. If the code in the ISR is not executed within 30uS and if you have not disabled timer 0 interrupt in timer 0 ISR then it could cause over run and you will never be able to get out from the ISR.
