#120382 - ADC failure Responding to: ???'s previous message |
the input is from a load cell. input is protected with a series ferrite and then 0.47uF to GND.(from both inputs).this ADC has a low side switch ie. the -ve excitation (in this case GND) to the load cell can be switched through this switch.the excitation voltage also drives the ref inputs. the data sheet says there is no buffer in these inputs. it looks like the ref input might have picked up the noise. i did some experimentation and the problem repeated when the 230 V AV line was run near the load cell wires and then the 230V was switced on and off. i am trying to put some protection at those excitation lines and will get get back with the results. mean while any suggetions to protect these ref inputs ?
thank you all dileep shenoy |
