Whether you can "live with" the slow rate of serial communication depends on the required sample rate and on what else is going on in your system.
You can attach both a parallel ADC and a parallel DAC as external RAM if you like. Again, that will require that you read and understand a few datasheets (MCU, ADC, DAC). Are you willing to do that? There's a recent thread that deals with the ADC0808, which you might want to search for and understand, too. RE |
