PonyProg homepage cleanly shows that this software supports AT89S8252 and AT89S53 from MCS51 only. Both derivatives are obsolete. There are some programs which look suitable for S82. For example: - SPI Flash Microcontroller Programmer: http://chaokhun.kmitl.ac.th/~kswichit...Pgm37.html - SPIwc: http://spiprog.narod.ru/ [Russian language only!] - Atmel AT89ISP: http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=114600 (be careful - link to the cable schematic was changed and placed in the other message of that thread).
