#12139 - RS232 INTERFACE |
Hi,
I am making a PC based blood analyzer. The instructions are to be sent through the PC's Comm port via RS232 to the instrument. Upon receiving the request, the instrument will do the needful and transmit the data back to the PC. I am not very sure how to make the packets and frames for data to ensure that the information send and received is 100 % correct. Also should I use any handshaking signal like RTS and CTS to ensure that data is properly synchronized. Kindly help me out. Regards, Mohit |
