#122608 - USB Design By Example Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Salaam Khaled,
My suggestion, if you're absolutely resolute in your intent to "do USB" the hard way, is the following book. Hyde, John. USB Design by Example: A Practical Guide to Building I/O Devices, 2d ed. Intel Press, 2001. The ISBN is 0-9702846-5-9. There is another book, a similar book, by Jan Axelson (a well thought-of author in the 8051 community) entitled "USB Complete: Everything You Need to Develop Custom USB Peripherals," ISBN 1931448027. I believe this one is about half the cost of the other, but since I am not familiar with it I can not say with certainty that it addresses host design at all. You will want to see what you can find out before you "save" those extra bucks. Good luck, Joe |
