#123285 - I know nothing about keil debugger Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Ashwin,
I know little (= nothing) about "keil debugger" (is it the simulator built into uVision?) nor how a keypress is represented here, so I can't comment on "and the fact that no key is being pressed, why is the 'not equal' condition being 'TRUE'." You might probably single-step or put a breakpoint and have a look at the accumulator contents just before the cjne in question? On the other hand, your code still looks for me messy and I believe if you try to put down first what you intended, either in the form of a flowchart, or other means (in plain words, perhaps); you will spot an error in the logic of what you do, rather than in the code* you wrote. Jan Waclawek --- * my favorite saying: I write programs, not code. The difference is, the former is (human) readable, the latter is not. |
