#123908 - The max clock frequency of this is too slow Responding to: ???'s previous message |

From Allegro, UCN5833EP. It is a serial device with 32 latched outputs each of which is rated to sink 125mA. I used this chip before but I longer use it. The max clock frequency of this is too slow, it can't support high speed clocking and the chip must use limiting current resistors for all the outputs. I also heard that this chip was already been phased out. (Correct me if I heard the wrong info) I suggest Sudhakar to use TLC5921, which is serial to parallel latch outputs, has constant current control feature and much higher clock frequency limit.
