There is not much to be said about rewrtining this program. It is only a rewite and only 120 lines of code.
Since this is a Python(www.python.org) program I used PythonWin to edit it. It has nice feautes as identation guides, code folding and auto completion to write Python code. For my general editing I use TextPad (www.textpad.com).
